*LAHORE – An official of Adiala Jail, who unearthed corruption of the jailadministration, says he is being given death threats for coming out as awhistle-blower.*
Javed Iqbal, who is a senior clerk in the jail, claimed through a videomessage that he had pointed out corrupt practices within the jail and nowproofs of all wrongdoings were being erased.
He said family was being threatened with abduction and some elements weretrying to frame him in false cases.
He appealed the chief justice of Pakistan, prime minister and chiefminister Punjab to take notice of the matter.
