It’s worth noting that the previous day in Dharamshala, Bangladesh andAfghanistan’s teams played their first match. During the match, severalAfghan players suffered injuries while fielding, including Mujib ur Rahman,who narrowly avoided a knee injury.
Afghanistan’s head coach, Jonathan Trott, also expressed his concerns aboutthe condition of the ground while highlighting Mujib ur Rahman’s kneeinjury.
Trott stated that he wouldn’t attribute the loss to a significant marginagainst Bangladesh to the conditions, and they are fortunate that Mujib urRahman is safe from a serious knee injury. Players are left with thedecision of whether to dive or not; he’s not placing blame, but there aresome issues that need to be addressed.
