ISLAMABAD – Azerbaijan on Tuesday offered Pakistan a supply of LiquefiedNatural Gas (LNG) on a long-term basis and expressed interest in developinginfrastructure of the commodity, especially related to oil and gasexploration activities.
A delegation of Azerbaijan, led by Ambassador Ali Alizada, expressed keeninterest during a meeting with Minister for Petroleum Omar Ayub Khan.
Country head state-owned State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR),Azerbaijan’s largest oil and gas company operating in many countries,accompanied the ambassador.——————————
*PFC to participate in ‘Make in Pakistan Expo’*——————————
The Pakistan Furniture Council (PFC) will participate in a three-day ‘Madein Pakistan Expo’ in Baku, Azerbaijan, starting from October 28 forpromoting furniture exports.
PFC Chief Executive Mian Kashif Ashfaq, while chairing a meeting offurniture exporters on Tuesday, said that Pakistani businessmen have shownkeen interest in the exhibition and have aimed for the promotion of theirproducts in the markets of Azerbaijan.
He stressed that such exhibition would certainly strengthenAzerbaijan-Pakistan relations and strengthening of ties between people.
