ISLAMABAD – Former prime minister, Nawaz Sharif has hit back at theAccountability process going on in the country.
He denounced the accountability procedure currently in place in thecountry, referring to the treatment meted out to his brother, ShehbazSharif.
In a brief interaction with newsmen outside the accountability court onTuesday, the former premier expressed that if it was the accountability, hedecries it.
‘Even the foreigners lavished praise on Shehbaz Sharif as no one couldpoint fingers due to his uprightness,’ said the former lawmaker.
Sharif, who appeared before the judge Arshad Malick in the Al-Aziziareference, expressed that a few of the individuals in the incumbent regimeshurled allegations against the former chief minister Punjab.
Those who alleged Shehbaz suffered a pratfall when the Chines firmclarified the situation, Sharif said in a reference to the allegationsregarding the corruption in Multan Metro Bus project
