Oil and Gas production in Pakistan increases

In Pakistan, there has been an increase in the production of oil and gasthroughout the country, with the Pakistan Petroleum Institute (PPI) and theindustry releasing statistics. During the week ending on August 31st, theaverage oil production in the country reached a record of 69,938 barrelsper day, which was a 0.4% increase compared to the previous week.

Meanwhile, the average daily gas production in the country was recorded at3,260 million cubic feet (MMCFD), marking a 1.1% increase compared to thepreceding week. In the previous week, the average daily gas production inthe country was 3,225 MMCFD.

Furthermore, during the week ending on August 31st, the average dailyproduction of crude oil by Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL)was 33,845 barrels, Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL) produced 10,988barrels, Pakistan Oilfields Limited (POL) produced 4,630 barrels, and MariGas Company Limited produced 1,051 barrels of raw gas.
