KABUL – An explosion in Afghanistanlink capital cityof Kabul link amidcelebrations of Martyrslink’ Day leftthree people injured link,a spokesman for Afghanlink policelink told Sputnik onMonday.
“At 11 this morning [06:30 GMT], an explosive device was discovered plantedon the road link in theSaleem Caravan area of the 4th Mikrorayon district. Its explosion hasinjured link threepeople,” the spokesman said.
The blast was caused by a magnetic bomb that detonated near Shaheedlink Square, theTOLOnews broadcaster reported.
Two hours later, another blast reportedly hit Kabullink Taimani district,leaving no casualties.
According to the news link channel, anAfghan link servicemanwas also killed earlier in the day during clashes in the capital betweenthe security forces and Massoud Day mourners, the followers of Ahmad ShahMassoud, who was an Afghanlink politician andmilitary commander, engaged in resistance against the Soviet occupationbetween 1979 and 1989 and against the Talibanlink in the 1990s.
