LAHORE – 2.9 million US dollars (Rs 35 crore) were collected fromoverseas Pakistanis for the dam fund during 92 News’s ‘Special Dam FundRaising Transmission’ held for only two hours.
From Barcelona, PTI workers collected 4,100 Euros, while a Pakistani womandonated 1,100 Euros to the dam fund.
Pakistani taxi drivers donated 25,000 Euros to the fund. In total, anamount of 34,200 Euros was collected in Barcelona.
From Britain, Hafiz Muhammad Saeed Hashmi, the prayer leader of ShahjahanMosque, and his friends donated Rs 10 million for the dam. Moreover,Pakistanis donated 26,000 pounds while talking to 92 News.
From Paris, PTI leader announced to donate 10,000 Euros and a Pakistanigave 50,000 Euros to the dam fund.
From Dublin, the PTI president announced to submit 100,000 Euros to thefund.
