ISLAMABAD – Minister for Planning, Development and Reform Makhdum KhusroBakhtyar says all out efforts to be made for the success of China PakistanEconomic Corridor.
He was talking to Vice Chairmen National Development and Reform Commissionof China Ning Jizhe in Islamabad today.
The Minister said progress on special economic zones under CPEC has beenexpedited and investors from all across the world are encouraged topopulate these parks.
He said the government will encourage projects based on indigenous sourcesof energy including Thar Coal, hydel and renewables to reduce country’simport bill and guarantee cheaper energy.

Mr. Ning Jizhe reiterated his commitment that Chinese companies wouldeffectively work for completion of CPEC projects. He agreed to work closelywith the new government to achieve the set targets.
