ISLAMABAD – Saudi Arabia has expressed concerns over the latestdevelopments in Occupied Jammu and Kashmir and has affirmed its stand thatconflict should be settled through peaceful means in accordance with therelevant international resolutions.
Official source at the Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Ministry said that it isfollowing the current situation in Jammu and Kashmir resulting from India’sabolition of article 370 of the constitution, which guarantees the autonomyof Jammu and Kashmir.
Malaysia also voiced concern over the recent developments in OccupiedKashmir, in particular the repeated escalation of tension in the region.
A press statement issued by Prime Minister’s Office in Putrajaya today saidMalaysia would like to encourage all stakeholders to abide by the relevantUNSC resolutions on Occupied Kashmir towards the maintenance ofinternational peace and security.
Malaysia said it always believes that dialogues and consultations are thebest route to a peaceful and amicable solution over this long standingissue.
