ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chief Imran Khan on Thursday hasgiven an important task to finance minister designate Asad Umar.
Khan has handed over the matter of extending contracts and appointments of500 departments’ chairmen to finance minister-in-waiting Asad Umar.
According to PTI leader, those who were hired on merit and rules will beallowed to complete their tenure while action will be taken against theviolators.
Expected Finance Minister will submit the report to Imran Khan in thisregard.
These departments also included State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), Securitiesand Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), Pakistan International airlines(PIA) and Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA).
Earlier, Asad Umer said a task force will be established to recover lootedmoney to Pakistan. He said that we will have discussion with foreignexperts for bringing back the looted money of Pakistan.
Pakistan’s foreign reserves had declined to an alarming level, he said.Quoting Ishaq Dar’s statement, he said 200 billion dollars were kept in theSwiss banks.
