*RAWALPINDI: Former premier Nawaz Sharif’s son-in-law Captain (retd) Safdarhas been granted B-class facilities in Adiala prison, ARY News reported. *

Sources said the PML-N leader underwent a medical examination inside prisonand was declared to have good health.

The jail authorities allowed the PML-N leaders B-class facilities, alsoknown as executive class facilities, whereby he will be kept in anair-conditioned cell and will have access to a fridge and television.

A National Accountability Bureau (NAB) team shifted Safdar to Adiala afterproducing him before Accountability Judge Muhammad Bashir on Monday morning.

On Sunday evening, NAB arrested Safdar in Rawalpindi where he led a rallyof PML-N supporters for hours and later shifted him to its regional officein the twin cities.

The PML-N leader requested NAB officials to let him reach a nearby partyoffice along the rally where he said he would formally surrender.
