Apple unveils IPhone X like smartphone but with cheaper price

LONDON – Renowned phone case maker Ghostek has provided a rough render ofthe upcoming budget 2018 iPhone. The render has been revealed by Forbeslink>.The renders confirm that Apple is giving in to consumer demands by givingthem an iPhone X-like smartphone within a reasonable price bracket. Sadly, however, the phone will not retain all of X’s premium features. The reportreveals that the budget iPhone will be priced near $700 and will featurethe widely-acclaimed Face ID.

It isn’t all cheerful though. The report also reveals that the budgetiPhone 2018 will have a single-lens camera instead of the X’s dual-lenscamera setup. The cheap trim of the upcoming 2018 iPhone has a 6.1-inchdisplay. Oh wait, let me correct myself. It has a 6.1-inch LCD display.Yukh, did someone forget to give Apple the new year memo? It’s 2018 andthey’re offering an LCD in a flagship phone; who does that? Anyhow, let’sget to further details.

The render has revealed the exact dimensions of the upcoming cheap iPhone, which are 147.12 x 71.52 mm. These dimensions are vital in helping Appleput the 6.1-inch display on the phone. The 6.1-inch display means thebudget iPhone will be larger than the iPhone X. It’s notable how Apple hasstarted to adopt the large-displays trend in recent times. Up till theiPhone 6, iPhone carried quite small screens. For example, the iPhone 5 and5s had a 4-inch screen while the iPhone 4G had a 3.5-inch display.

Rumors currently in circulation state that the cheap trim will not have3D-touch support as well. Reportedly, Apple will include wired fast-chargesupport in a bid to counter the effect of taking out all the premiumfeatures. Question is, will this be enough to convince consumers to missout on all the premium features just to save a few hundred dollars? Or willthe cheap version of the iPhone be a failure? I think notlink>,what about you?
