Major Nadeem Abbas shaheed laid to rest with full military honour in hometown Hafizabad

*HAFIZABAD – **Major Nadeem Abbas shaheed laid to rest with full militaryhonour in hometown Hafizabad.*

*Major Nadeem Abbas martyred by terrorists near Pak-Iran border was laid torest with full military honours in his ancestral graveyard in Hafizabad onSaturday.*

A large number of people, including high-ranking military and civilofficer, attended his funeral.

The martyred major is survived by a widow, two sons and a daughter.

Major Nadeem Abbas was son of former MPA Nazar Abbas Bhatti and brother offormer district nazim Mubashar Abbas Bhatti.

On Friday, six FC South jawans, including Major Nadeem Abbas, were martyredwhen their vehicle was targeted with a remote controlled improvisedexplosive device (IED) on Friday.

According to a press release issued by the ISPR, the vehicle was returningfrom patrolling in Kech’s Buleda area, 14 kms from Pak-Iran Border, tocheck possible routes used by terrorists in the mountainous terrain ofMakran.

The martyred jawans included Major Nadeem, Naik Jamshed, Lance Naik KhizarHayat, Lance Naik Taimoor, Sepoy Nadeem and Sepoy Sajid.
