LAHORE – The initial investigations have suggested thrilling details of theData Darbar suicide bomber who targeted police van outside the shrine,killing 11 people, including five police personnel.
In its report, the Punjab forensic agency has revealed that the suicidebomber was wearing Indian made shoes.
Although the suicide bomber has not been identified yet; but according topreliminary investigations, the attacker appeared to be belonging to tribalareas of Pakistan or could possibly be an Afghan national.
Intelligence sources said that the terrorist had the support of a bigoutfit.
The bomber’s conduct and behaviour prior to the attack suggested that hewas administered with a toxic injection to avoid hesitation while attack,sometime before he blew himself up.

Initial investigations suggest that the bomber, aged between 14 to 16years, came to Punjab via Balochistan of Afghanistan’s Kandahar province.
He had appeared at the site outside the Data Darbar from an adjacentstreet. The suicide bomber used locally made explosive material as he hadball bearings in his jacket.
The suicide bomber has been identified with the help of safe city cameras.The footage of the suicide bomber has been provided to Counter TerrorismDepartment (CTD) and other investigation agencies.
