ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister (FM) of Water Resources Faisal Vawda admittedto a hospital after suffering a chest pain today (May 9) due to which hecould not attend the National Assembly’s session.
In the absence of Faisal Vawda, FM for Power Omar Ayub Khan responded tothe questions in the Assembly.
According to the media reports, his health deteriorated suddenly when hewas shifted to the Armed Forces Institute of Cardiology (AFIC).
As per sources, FM Water Resources suffered through angina, a type of chestpain caused by reduced blood flow to the heart, while doctors have alreadystarted the treatment.
He was supposed to talk at the NA session today but failed to do so due tothe angina.
