MUMBAI – Controversies queen Rakhi Sawant has stirred up a storm yet again.She took to her Instagram account to share of a picture of herself with thePakistan flag, with a disclaimer: “I love my India but it’s my character inthe film Dhara 370.”
Of course, the picture attracted the attention of trolls, who tore herapart for choosing to pose with the flag of Pakistan. “You are suitable forPakistani citizenship, Ms Rakhi ‘Pakistani’ Sawant,” one Instagram usercommented. Several others threatened to unfollow her.

After receiving many hate comments, Rakhi had clarified in a video that shewas playing a Pakistani girl in Dhara 370. She also said that all citizensof Pakistan were not bad and she really respected them.
“Main logon ko yeh batana chahti hoon ki main ek Pakistani ladki dikhayigayi hoon. Pakistan ke logon ke seene mein bhi dil hota hai. Bohot pyaarehote hai. Sab bure nahi hote hai. Kuch log jo jihad karwate hai bachchonse, jo apne hi desh, mulk aur kaum ke khilaaf hote hai, jo Allah ke khilaafbhi hote hai, jo human bomb banate hai… Main Pakistan ki bohot respectkarti hoon, unke logon ki respect karti hoon,” she said.
“Kuch log hai jo Kashmiriyon ko, Hindustaniyon ko border paar karwate hai,unki madad karte hai, kyunki woh bohot nek aur Allah ke bande hai. Mainunki bohot izzat karti hoon aur sab bure nahi hote. Har desh mein koi nakoi caste mein koi bura toh hota hi hai, jo Allah ke khilaaf aur ishwar kekhilaaf jaata hai,” the actress added.
