ISLAMABAD – Pakistan says Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA)represents a very good example of a negotiated settlement of complexissues, through dialogue and diplomacy.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, Foreign Office said Pakistan hadwelcomed the JCPOA when it was concluded, and hoped that all parties willfind a way for its continuation, especially when the International AtomicEnergy Agency has repeatedly verified Iran’s compliance.
It said Pakistan noted the willingness of the parties to the Agreement towork together on upholding their respective commitments as stipulated inthe JCPOA, despite US decision to withdraw from it.
The statement said Pakistan believes that international treaties andagreements concluded through painstaking negotiations are sacrosanct.
