ISLAMABAD – iPhone X has become the company’s star performing devicesshipping a whopping 50 million units globally since its launch.
After the phenomenal success of iPhone X, word is that the company has nowshifted its focus on to its successor iPhone X Plus. And a new reporthappens to shed light on the size of purported new device.
According to a report by Macotakaralink>whichis based on a “reliable supplier source”, iPhone X Plus will have a6.5-inch OLED display. But it could appear similar to iPhone 8 Plus, whichfeatures a screen size of 5.5 inches, due to its dramatically large bezels.
The purported new iPhone will also be 0.2mm thicker due to difference inimplementing the rear camera, so chances are that there will be no camerabump at the back of the phone.
The report also claims that Apple might be working on a low price versionof the phone with a LCD display and a TrueDepth camera. This variant of thedevice would be closer to the likes of Moto G5 Plus and Huawei Nova Lite 2and it would feature a 6-inch screen instead of a rumoured 6.1-inch screen. It is also likely that the phone will not feature a dual camera setup atthe back.
Apart from this, the report suggests that Apple could refresh its iPhone Xline up and that the next model of iPhone X will feature the same casing asthe current model but it will feature a larger camera sensor, which meansthat the phone could also feature larger lenses than the current model.
Last but not the least, the website suggests that Apple’s mobile OS–iOS12– will feature support for horizontal face unlocking feature. Atpresent, iPhone X users can unlock their phones only when it is placedvertically.
