Bahrain Foreign Minister called on COAS General Bajwa at GHQ

ISLAMABAD – Bahrain has appreciated Pakistan’s contributions for conflictprevention in the region.

This was stated by Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bahrain Shaikh Khalid BinAhmed Bin Mohamed Al-Khalifa who called on Army Chief General Qamar JavedBajwa in Rawalpindi today.

During the meeting, matters of mutual interest including security situationin the region were discussed.

The visiting dignitary also pledged to keep working for better relationsbetween the two brotherly countries.

Meanwhile, Commander of Royal Brunei Armed Forces Major General PengiranDato Paduka Seri Aminan bin Pengiran Haji Mahmud also called on GeneralBajwa.

During the meeting, regional security situation and matters of professionalinterest were discussed.

Commander of Royal Brunei Armed Forces acknowledged the sacrifices andachievements of Pakistan Army in fight against terrorism and effortstowardsregional peace.
