KABUL – At least three Afghan National Police (ANP) soldiers were killed intwo separate incidents in Faryab province on Sunday, local officials saidMonday.
Safar Mohammad, a security official from Faryab province, said a policesoldier was killed in a clash with Taliban on the Dawlat Abad-Qaramqolhighway in the Qaramqol district and one other was wounded.
According to Safar, in a separate incident, two ANA personnel, includingQaramqol’s district deputy director of the criminal department, were killedand one other soldier was wounded in a roadside bomb – in Qaramqoldistrict.
Safar said electricity was also cut to the area during the clashes.
