*ISLAMABAD: *Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Sunday has responded to thenews of Chaudhry Nisar joining PTI.
PTI has rubbished reports of former interior minister Chaudhry Nisarmeeting top party officials.
“We have no intentions of calling on him,” a PTI spokesperson said. Hetermed the reports baseless.

The party spokesperson said former PTI secretary general Jehangir Tareenwas also present alongside Khan over the membership drive. PTI vicepresident Shah Mehmood Qureshi is in Multan. There has been no meetingbetween them either, he added.
PML-N MNA Ramesh Kumar recently jumped ship and joined the PTI, citingreservations over former prime minister Nawaz Sharif’s ‘controversialstatements and politics’.
He made a formal announcement on this regard while speaking to reporters athis residence alongside Khan and other PTI leaders. He also urged Nisar tojoin the party.
