ISLAMABAD – NAB Prosecutor Sardar Muzaffar and Nawaz Sharif’s counselKhawaja Haris exchanged heated argument during the hearing of AvenfieldReference on Monday.

Accountability Court Judge Muhammad Bashir is hearing the AvenfieldReference case.

NAB Prosecutor Sardar Muzaffar said that Khawaja Haris was askingunnecessary questions. The deputy prosecutor also remarked that NawazSharif has accepted that he works for firm Capital FZE. Khawaja Haris saidthat different questions are asked to make sure truth comes out.

Prosecutor’s witness Wajid Zia told that there were copies of NawazSharif’s Iqama in Joint Investigation Report. He requested the court toopen serial number 8 and make them part of court’s record.

The witness in Avenfield reference case Wajid Zia said that the documentsof Iqama are in serial number 10 instead of 8.

Nawaz Sharif’s lawyer asked the question that these documents were takenfrom Gornica. Wajid Zia said that he would comment after watching thedocuments. Court gave Wajid Zia permission to see documents.
