HYDERABAD: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has said Pakistan fully believed in sustainable peace in the region and never supported any hostility, however in case of any aggression from India it is capable to strongly respond to enemies.
The CM stated this while responding to queries of media persons after attending the graduation ceremony of US Pakistan Centre for Advanced Studies in Water of Mehran University of Engineering and Technology Jamshoro on Friday.
He said that international forces have also now realized that peace cannot prevail between Pakistan and India until and unless resolution of Kashmir issue. The present federal government should take advantage of sympathies of international forces and make efforts for resolving Kashmir issue at the international platform, he added.
Responding to a question, he was of the view that policies of the federal government lowered the quantum of tax collection thereby country facing economic crisis. The federal government has not given any clear economic policy, he claimed and added that due to minimum tax collection provinces were also facing negative impacts on their economy.
To a question, he said that the meeting of National Finance Commission held few weeks back, different committees were formed which will submit the recommendations of the provinces to federal government.
Replying to another question, he was of the view that due to activities of NAB, the government officers all over the country including Sindh were reluctant to perform their duties.
