Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Thursday demanded the provision of thelatest vehicles, authority and resources from Punjab Chief Minister MohsinRaza Naqvi to combat illegal terrorist organizations.
CTD officials stated that they should be given the authority to act againstterrorists according to the 2016 PECA Act .
They said that they need the cooperation from State Bank and FinancialManagement Unit for the cases of Terror Finance.
They demanded the provision of 10 bullet-proof double cabins, 36 IMSIcatchers to identify mobile callers, six 4G GSM locators with vehicles andtwo vehicles with jammers was put forth.
The demands for facilities and power were presented in the Apex Committeemeeting.
