ISLAMABAD – China has agreed to accommodate Pakistan’s demands in theamended Free Trade Agreement to be signed next month. The Chinese sideconveyed the willingness during the ninth round of negotiations on the FTAin Beijing.
During talks, Pakistani delegation led by Secretary Commerce MohammadYounus Dagha presented the demands of Pakistani exporters and industriesfor accommodating in the final draft of the free trade agreement.
The demands included providing tariff concessions equivalent to the ASEANcountries.
The Chinese side also agreed on Electronic Data Exchange which will helpreducing the chances of under invoicing.
