Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has expressed the hope that theresolution of outstanding issues among members of Gulf Cooperation Counciland the successful GCC Summit will help in early finalization of thepending Pakistan-GCC Free Trade Agreement.
Talking to a private television channel, he said Pakistan enjoyed close andfraternal relations with all the GCC member states especially with SaudiArabia due to religious and spiritual attachment with the holy places ofMakkah and Madina.
The Foreign Minister said Pakistan’s human resource is already contributingin the development and progress of GCC countries especially Saudi Arabiasince 1980s.
He also mentioned the quota of 100,000 work force offered by Qatar toPakistan and said preparatory work in that respect is underway.
