ISLAMABAD – German Ambassador to Pakistan Martin Kobler Wednesday,expressing pleasure overannouncement of Bill Gates to invest in Pakistan’s information technologysector, said he is looking forward to “Pakistan Silicon Valley”.In a tweet on his social media account said: “Good news coming in forPakistan. great that Bill Gates wants to invest in IT sector. Lookingforward towards ‘Pakistan Silicon Valley.”
It may be mentioned that the Silicon Valley, in the southern SanFrancisco Bay Area of California, US, is home to many start-up and globaltechnology companies.
In another tweet, German envoy expressed the optimism that Pakistan willeliminate menace of polio and said: WHO & Gates Foundation together withthe people of Pak can end polio. Germany also contributes to Polioeradication.”
