The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) will announce its parliamentary board for the upcoming general elections next month for the national and provincial assemblies, according to sources. In October, the PML-N made the decision to establish a parliamentary board for the elections to the national and provincial assemblies.
Shahbaz Sharif will lead the parliamentary board, while Nawaz Sharif will oversee the distribution of tickets as the party leader.
The decision by the PML-N to rely on established political figures in certain constituencies, where the candidates are weak, reflects a strategic move. Only in such constituencies will fresh faces and strong candidates be brought forward.
Additionally, Maryam Nawaz, Hamza Shahbaz, Pervez Rashid, and Ishaq Dar will be part of the parliamentary board. Other notable figures like Nazhat Sadiq, Ashraf Asif, Kamran Michael, and Muhammad Zubair will also join the parliamentary board. The announcement of the parliamentary board is expected to be made in the coming days
