Unbelievable: How much losses PIA incurred on wasted food in last three years?

KARACHI – Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), wasted food worth over Rs10 crores in three years.
As per details, PIA also paid overflying bill of $65000 for Turkamanistan to a fabricator falsely. The money was transferred to the account of man who fabricated a story nicely.
On the other hand the kitchen audit of the national flag carrier has revealed that Rs106500000 food was wasted in three years.
The report said 5558284 passengers travelled from airline from 2013 to 2015 and food was arranged for 6072839 passengers. An additional food for over 5lac persons cost PIA over 7 crore. Food wasted at Lahore Airport also worth over 4 crores.
The report held PIA administration responsible for this loss. PIA was informed about these mishaps in 2016 and in November 2018 but no one paid heed to these losses of worth millions.
