ISLAMABAD - Social activist Gulalai Ismail has been involved in anti state activities abroad, it has been revealed.
The Ministry of Interior on Tuesday informed the Islamabad High Court (IHC) that the name of human rights activist Gulalai Ismail had been placed on the Exit Control List (ECL) on the recommendation of the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI).
Spy agency recommended putting Ms Ismail’s name on the ECL for her alleged anti-state activities abroad.
The court was hearing a petition filed by Ms Ismail seeking removal of her name from the ECL.
