ISLAMABAD: Punjab Minister for Housing Mian Mehmood-Ur-Rasheed Thursday said the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government was ready for best medical treatment to Nawaz Sharif in any hospital of the country.
“We wanted that former prime minister should get medical treatment from Pakistani qualified and expert doctors in any hospital, “ he said talking to a private news channel.
The provincial minister said if Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz would call to any doctor of London for Nawaz Sharif treatment then the government would welcome to the step.
He said Lahore High Court had rejected the bail petition of Nawaz Sharif and the government has no concern over the matter, adding it would not make any compromise on corruption.
Mehmood-Ur-Rasheed said not a single evidence of corruption was reported against the PTI government during the ongoing tenure. Policies on education, trade, industrial and housing had already been given to bring improvement in these sectors, he added.
He said when the PTI government came into power the country was confronting economic challenges and woes but we are making gigantic efforts to further improve the national economy.
