ISLAMABAD- Minister for Aviation Division Ghulam Sarwar Khan says the government is committed to restore the prestige and glory of Pakistan International Airlines and several steps are being taken in this regard.

Talking to media in Rawalpindi today (Saturday), he said PIA will be made such an airline on which the people will have pride to travel.

He said safety of the passengers travelling on PIA is our foremost priority. He said PIA arranged special flights to bring back Pakistanis from different countries in the Covid-19 pandemic.

Ghulam Sarwar Khan said coronavirus cases are continuing to decline in the country owing to effective strategies and polices of the government. 

He urged the general public to strictly follow SOP's regarding coronavirus during Muharram-ul-Haram to curb spread of the pandemic.
