ISLAMABAD – United States will investigate allegations of military weaponsinappropriate use.
The United States says it will investigate allegations of its weapons beingused inappropriately in Iraq.
Amid a mounting death toll of protesters in Iraq, Pentagon spokesmanJonathan Hoffman told reporters that the US has a very stringent userequirements for its military weapons.
He further said that it will investigate that the weapons are not beingused in the manner they were intended.

Hoffman said Defense Secretary Mark Esper has sought assurances from IraqiForeign Minister Mohamed Ali al-Hakim and Defense Minister Erfan al-Hiyalithat the peaceful protests would be observed peacefully.
