ISLAMABAD – The federal cabinet has decided to grant the Regular PublicTransport License (RPTL) to the newly introduced Liberty Air Limited.
Information Minister Fawad Chaudhary told journalists on Thursday that thecabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan decided to approve theissuance of a charter license to Liberty Air.
Liberty is the first among five airlines that had applied for a license tooperate in Pakistan this year.
Besides Liberty Air, four other airlines including Askari Air, Air Siyal,Go Green and Afeef Zara Airways had applied for the license, which allowsthe airline to cover domestic routes only.
