Police Station in Pakistan attacked by terrorists with rockets and grenades

In Dera Ismail Khan, an attack by terrorists on the Hatala Police Stationwas thwarted. After a fierce confrontation with the police officers, theterrorists managed to escape. According to sources, an unidentified groupof terrorists had earlier attacked the Hatala Police Station in the suburbsof Dera Ismail Khan with rockets and hand grenades, attempting to break thecentral gate, which the brave police officers present at the stationresisted courageously.

According to the police sources, besides hand grenades, around 5 rocketswere fired at the Hatala Police Station, causing damage to the main gateand CCTV cameras of the station.

An exchange of fire between the terrorists and the police continued forabout an hour, but the police youth forced the terrorists to retreatthrough effective countermeasures.

Two police officers are reported to be injured in this attack. As soon asthe information was received, a large contingent of police, led by seniorofficers, reached Hatala. It should be noted that the second Hatala PoliceStation in the Tehsil Kulachi was opened only a few months ago after 1854.
