After taking control in Afghanistan, the Taliban benefited the most, andthe proscribed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) was revived.
In 2014, due to the Zarb-e-Azb operation, the TTP suffered losses, leadingits militants to relocate to Afghanistan to regroup and reorganize.
In 2021, when the Taliban raised their flag over the Afghan capital, Kabul,the TTP was among the first groups to celebrate this victory, showcasingtheir support for the Taliban’s takeover.
