Pakistan has called for holding a major donor conference to formulateimmediate humanitarian and economic relief plans for Afghanistan foraverting risks of instability and terror threat to the entire world.
In an article published in a US-based journal, Advisor to Prime Minister onNational Security Dr Moeed Yusuf said that a wait-and see approach would betantamount to abandonment of Afghanistan.
He said the spread of refugees, drugs, weapons, and transnational terrorismfrom a destabilized Afghanistan neither serve the interests of the Afghanpeople nor the rest of the world, most of all Pakistan.

He said as Pakistan can and will assist in pushing Afghanistan in apositive direction and it alone cannot guarantee the outcomes that we alldesire.
