ISLAMABAD – Pakistan has urged the United Nations to address Indianbrutalities in curfew-bound Occupied Kashmir.
Pakistan’s outgoing representative to the UN Maleeha Lodhi addressing adebate on Advancement of Women in the General Assembly said that “cruel”and persisting India’s lockdown in occupied Kashmir have exacerbated thesuffering of women and children.
Ambassador Lodhi drew attention of the world body to the plight of womenand their families living under foreign occupation especially in IndianOccupied Kashmir.
She emphasized the world nations to urgently address that dire andunacceptable situation in Indian Occupied Kashmir.
Maleeha Lodhi reaffirmed Pakistan’s firm commitment to the goal ofempowering women in all situations to create a more just, equitable andpeaceful world.
