Islamabad Police fail to curb crimes, junior officials found involved in patronising crimes: Sources

ISLAMABAD – The Federal Capital police has failed to control crime rate asincidents of thefts, land grabbing, car snatching, gambling are increasingin the areas day by day.

The inner sources stated that some police personnel were also involved incorrupt practices and most of them believed that they are supervising thecriminals.

Sources stated that for past several months’ incidents of car snatching,drug and liquor selling, house theft incidents had been increasing but thepersonnel of law enforcement agencies have no serious concern. Nearly 80%incidents of serious crimes were put under carpet.

According to a report, more than 700 spots of drugs and liquor selling werehidden established in the limits of 21 police stations of Federal Capitaland they were doing this ugly business under the nose of police officialswith any check and fear.

The most points were established in the areas of Tarnol, Golra, Bara Kahu,Secretariat, Khana, Korral and other areas.
