Accountability Court Islamabad has resumed hearing of Al-Azizya Steel Mills reference against former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.

Judge Muhammad Arshad Malik is hearing the case.

Nawaz Sharif through his counsel Khawaja Haris submitted a plea seeking exemption from court appearance on Monday.

Khawaja Haris told the court that Nawaz Sharif has been summoned by the Lahore High Court in a case and he could not appear before the accountability court today.
