The twenty-two million standard cubic feet per day (mmscfd) gas reserveshave been discovered in Kohat district of Pakhtunkhwa (KP).
Gas reserves were discovered by the Tal joint venture at Tolanj’s West-2development in in Kohat.
These reserves were discovered in just 89 days after excavating 4 thousand150 meters.
Only 200 meters of pipeline from the gas-well will have to be erected forconnecting the main supply line.
The discovery of gas reserves will help the country save 60 million dollarsannually.
