ANKARA: Turkish star Celal Al, who shot to fame with the smash hithistorical drama Resurrection: Ertugrul, took to social media tocommemorate Pakistan’s Defense Day which is celebrated every year on Sept.6.
The actor, who starred as Abdulrahman Alp, in the globally-acclaimed TVshow, shared the national flag of Turkey and Pakistan in an Instagram storywith the hashtag “#PakistanZindabad”.
Al also met with Turkey’s Honorary Consul General of Pakistan in Istanbulon Monday, Murat Tarman, lauding the ties between the two countries.
“Dil Dil Jan Jan Pakistan,” he said in one of his many stories onInstagram, referring to a popular patriotic Pakistani song said to be thecountry’s second national anthem.
