*KARACHI – Karachi Mayor Wasim Akhtar faces an embarrassing blow as hisofficial car was stolen on Saturday afternoon.*
The car, a black Toyota Corolla with licence plate number JS-999, was beingdriven by his driver.
The vehicle was stolen from DHA’s Khayaban-e-Bukhari area.
A case has been registered at the Darakshan police station. The South DIGhas taken notice of the incident.
Akhtar is a leader of the MQM and was the Sindh home minister between 2003and 2007.
