OTTAWA – Pakistani Nobel laureate Malala Yousafzai met Canadian PrimeMinister (PM) Justin Trudeau on Friday.

Trudeau shared a picture of the meeting on Twitter and said, “Great tocatch up with Malala today in Ottawa.”

According to the tweet, they talked about “The important work of the G7Gender Equality Advisory Council and our commitment to making sure morewomen & girls around the world get to go to school.”

In response to Trudeau’s tweet, Malala thanked Canadian PM in a tweet andsaid, “So happy to be back in Canada today!, Thank you Prime Minister foryour time and your commitment to education for every child.”
