LAHORE – The overseas Pakistanis responded to the appeal of Prime MinisterImran Khan and started to donate the dams funds.
PM Imran Khan urged the nation and overseas Pakistanis to contributegenerously to the fund to save country from the looming water crisis. PMImran appealed to the overseas Pakistanis to donate at least US$1,000 perperson for the construction of dams.
After the speech of Imran Khan, the overseas Pakistanis responded to hisappeal and the people promised him to show full cooperation through theirtweets.
Overseas Pakistani community President in Russia has announced $5000donation and other community members have also announced similarcontributions.
A woman announced to donate US$1,000 for dam while a man donated 4000Riyals for dam funds. The overseas assured Imran Khan that they will standwith him in all circumstances.

“We have no need of IMF loans for the construction of dam. This is ourcountry and we will take care of our country,” he said. “I want to see agreen Pakistan. This is only possible when dams are constructed,” he added.
