*ISLAMABAD: Federal government on Monday notified a six-member committeecomprising members from the FIA, Intelligence Bureau (IB) and ISI to probea negative campaign being launched post helicopter crash in Lasbela thatsaw martyrdom of six Pakistan Army officials including Lieutenant GeneralSarfraz Ali. *
According to the notification, the six-member committee formed to probe thenegative campaign would be led by Additional Director General (DG) of FIAcybercrime unit Muhammad Jaffar.
The members included Lieutenant Colonel Saad from ISI, Deputy Director IBWaqar Nisar, Director FIA Waqaruddin Syed, deputy director Ayaz and ImranHaider.
The committee will identify those who launched the negative campaign onsocial media and arrest them and launch legal proceedings against them.
The Inter Service Public Relations (ISPR) has condemned negative propagandaover social media after the Helicopter crash in Lasbela, killing 5 Armyofficers.

A statementlinkissuedby ISPR said that the propaganda hurt the sentiments of the families of themartyrs. Pakistan Army’s ranks and files have expressed severe displeasureover the negative propaganda, ISPR said.
They added that the nation stands with the Pakistan Army in this difficulttime. The negative callous propaganda is unbearable and condemnable, theyadded.
