BEIJING – China warns India of retaliatory consequences for its firmsrelating to sanctions.

China has warned India not to block its Huawei Technologies from doingbusiness in the country and there could be consequences for Indian firmsoperating in China.

Telecoms Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad said India is due to hold trials forinstalling a next-generation 5G cellular network in the next few months,but has not yet taken a call on whether it would invite the Chinesetelecoms equipment maker to take part.
