Video presented by Maryam Nawaz has no credibility: FM

Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi says, the government has not asked Maryam Nawaz not to address public meeting at Mandi Bahauddin but requested her to change the place of public gathering due to security concerns.

Talking to media in Multan, he said, the video presented by Maryam Nawaz at a news conference has no value and credibility after rejection by concerned Judge and all the talk of Maryam Nawaz related to this video is based on her supposition.

He stressed the need of forensic examination of the video/ audio to ascertain facts in this context.

Meanwhile, addressing a Hajj training ceremony arranged by private Hajj operators in Multan, Shah Mehmood Qureshi said government is well aware of the problems of the masses and using all resources to resolve them.

He said the masses would observe good results soon as a result of public-friendly policies of the government.

The foreign minister said incumbent government has taken revolutionary steps to facilitate pilgrims.

He said Pakistan has been included in Road to Makkah project by the Saudi government after special request by Prime Minister Imran Khan.

He informed that the Prime Minister has issued special instructions to the Ministry of Religious Affairs to provide maximum relief to the intending pilgrims.

Qureshi said Imran Khan is first ruler who took up the issue of Pakistani prisoners with Saudi government which responded positively.
