KARACHI – Pakistan People’s Party workers allegedly tortured PakistanTehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Amir Liaquat outside the Aziz Bhatti PoliceStation in Karachi on Tuesday, Dunya News reported.

The incident occurred when PPP and PTI leaders along with their workersreached Aziz Bhatti Police Station to lodge cases against each other afterthe activists of both parties clashed at the Hakeem Saeed Ground inKarachi’s Gulshan-e-Iqbal area.

The PPP and PTI workers chanted slogans against each other outside the AzizBhatti Police Station. The PPP worker tortured PTI leader Amir Liaquat andalso hurled abuses at him. They also tore clothes of Amir Liaquat.
