ISLAMABAD: Justice Muneeb Akhtar has taken sworn as a Supreme Court judgeon Tuesday.

The oath taking ceremony was held in SC building Islamabad in which SupremeCourt judges, advocate generals, officials of Pakistan Bar and seniorlawyers attended the ceremony.

Prior to his appointment in Supreme Court, Justice Muneeb was serving asjudge in the Sindh High Court (SHC) and in terms of seniority he was rankedat number-4 in SHC.

A summary pertaining to the matter was signed after the recommendations ofjudicial commission and parliamentary committee.
